Reports to: Vice President and General Manager
Supervises: 7-Direct Reports 100 employees
Education: BA/BS in a relevant technical or business field
Primary Mission: Responsible for the development and implementation of a robust supply chain and customer logistics strategy capable of meeting agreed customer service levels with a rapidly growing food company while ensuring that the financial targets of the business are met.
Key
Responsibilities:
Direct or coordinate purchasing, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety.
Build, develop and manage a high performing team in the areas of Operations, Logistics and Process Development.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a supply management chain role
Managing regional and global relationships
Experience in international buying and selling would be a plus
Understanding of the procurement function and required procedures and laws
Able to travel up to 30% of the time ( a portion would be international)
Develop and implement a supply strategy that delivers costs efficient and quality productsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
