Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting multiple aspects of data services, including data warehouse, requirements gathering, data analysis, designing data models, understanding extract, loading and transformation processes and comprehension of existing processes and systems.
You will formulate and define systems scope and objectives and conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Mathematics, or Engineering plus 5 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Master s degree a plus.
Demonstrates strong initiative, self-motivation, and commitment to the job.
Demonstrated skill in acquiring knowledge in other business areas, demonstrating strong team building skills, adapting to unexpected changes and being a strong role model.
Effective and clear spoken and written communication skills.
Experience in Data Warehouse Principles, including data modeling and design, ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) principles and requirements gathering.
Experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server (and experience with Netezza is a nice to have but not required).
Experience with Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and SharePoint.
Also, working knowledge of SQL query language and relational database design.
Project management experience.
Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) ERP is a nice to have (not required).
Experience with Hyperion Essbase, BI or other Reporting tools.
Knowledge of project management tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION :
Understands the business areas supported to determine specific business requirements.
Leads complex projects which entails monitoring the work of IT professionals.
Writes descriptions of business needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify systems.
Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve or create complex systems.
Prepares functional, system, and program specifications.
Prepares proposals and recommendations for management and users.
Prepares project-phase plans and implementation schedules, plans and conducts meetings and workshops relative to these project plans, and communicates project status reporting to all levels of management.
Prepares technical reports and instructional manuals.
Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other IT business units/areas to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
Creates work plans for others and is expected to meet budget and schedule commitments.
Analyzes processes to support both non-computerized and computerized work-flow, including recommending technologies that can enhance the effectiveness of the process.
Acts as a liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations.
Participates in department and interdepartmental project teams and may work cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
Coordinates project status reporting when needed.
Conducts or coordinates quality assurance testing when needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
