Maintenance Technician A Maintenance Technician - Skills Required - Dairy, Food or Beverage, Refrigeration Miantenance, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Ammonia Compressors, Packaging Equipment, Digital and Analog Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics Due to continued success, we are looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our amazing team!!What You Will Be Doing - Ensure the safe and appropriate operation of equipment by proper diagnosis, repair and maintenance of production/processing machinery and other mechanical equipment.
- Clean and lubricate parts, equipment and machinery.
- Test-run repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
- Generate requisitions for parts and materials.
- Record and log repair and maintenance work in an accurate manner.
- Have all required tools to perform job; carry basic tools and test equipment at all time; maintain tools in workable condition at all times.
- Work on PLC controls, VFD drives and demonstrate a good understanding of instrumentation.
- Perform other duties and projects as requiredWhat You Need for this Position - High school graduate or equivalent.
- A minimum of five (5) years' maintenance experience within Dairy, Food, and/or Beverage industry.
- Able to pass WorkKeys assessment on Applied Mathematics, Reading for Information, and Locating Information.
Able to pass Ramsay assessment at level A.
- Effective troubleshooting skills; must be able to systematically diagnose electrical and/or mechanical problems.
- Working knowledge of boilers, refrigeration, PLC's, electrical, VFD drives, cooling towers, ammonia compressors, process instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and packaging equipment.
- Have basic computer skills in order to perform maintenance and repair on computer-controlled machinery.
- Experience with digital and analog electronics, control circuits and automated systems.
- Ability to logically determine mechanical/electrical/process control system functions, in order to determine the most efficient method of resolving malfunctions.
