The Warehouse Shipping Checker/Loader associate is responsible for pulling orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming and outgoing trailers according to the shipping schedule.
Checker/Loaders are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for themselves and their fellow co-workers Position requires ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/REQUIREMENTS MOBILITY - Physically capable of movement to all Shipping areas.
Ability to exert force necessary to move wheeled equipment weighing (400 lbs), at a distance of ( 100 )feet.
Ability to routinely stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing SENSORY - Ability to distinguish color coded equipment, containers, label, signs, etc.
Must pass food handlers certification course and possess current food handlers certification card.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
Ability to work in extreme heat.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE Six (6) or more months shipping or related experience.
DESIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED.
Must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.
