Job Description:
Our well established Food Processing client is PARTNERING with us in efforts to fill 2 IMMEDIATE Direct Hire Cost Accountant positions.
Pay DOE as follows:
Entry Level Cost Accountant - $45-$55K Sr.
Cost Accountant - $65-$78K Responsible for timely and accurate collection and reporting of Company financial information.
Will make decisions based on independent judgment.
Assist in the development of operating budgets.
Develop and perform account and cost variance analyses.
Timely and accurate collection and reporting of company financial information.
Accurately prepare various internal and external Reports.
Prepare journal entries with independent decisions on correct account.
Input new item costs.
Analyze new item costs to ensure accurate cost points.
Conduct biweekly cost and inventory review and analysis.
Analyze Production Financial Reports for budget.
Review and analyze budget for Consumer Pack to ensure accuracy and on target.
Partner with co-workers on inventory issues.
Analyze and compare prior and current budget to determine prior and target results.
Accounting 4 year degree.
3-5 years experience minimum for Sr.
position.
Computer - accounting software - SAP/ERP experience highly desirable.
Communication skills (verbal and written).
Must be able to communicate with all levels of management.
Experience working under pressure to meet deadlines in busy environment.
Requires ability to analyze situations and make independent decisions.
Job Requirements:
MUST have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant for the Sr.
Level Cost Accountant.
Also a Bachelors Degree and experience as described above.
