is currently is looking for an experience Microbiology Lab Technician in Turlock, CA.
POSITION OBJECTIVES - Aseptically performs sampling, plating, and testing of product daily.
- Submits accurate and timely reports based on the analysis.
- Assists in maintaining quality system records to comply with all accrediting agencies.
This will include recording temperatures and maintenance of equipment and instruments.
- Actively participates in any Proficiency Samples Program deemed relevant by Certified Laboratories.
- Learns new techniques and technologies as appropriate.
- Participates in special projects as assigned by the Department Manager/Supervisor.
- Works effectively with other departments.
- Maintains a clean and orderly environment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- AS degree, preferably in Biology/Microbiology and appropriate industry specific experience, or BS degree, preferably in Biology/Microbiology or related sciences.
- Good conceptual basis in biology.
- 2 :
4 years laboratory experience.
- Proven ability to perform basic microbiology laboratory techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong relevant qualitative and quantitative skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
