Job Description:
We are PARTNERING with our growing Food Processing client who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic with Food Processing experience for this IMMEDIATE Direct Hire opportunity.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFTS SUMMARY Perform skilled maintenance work relating primarily to production equipment, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatic, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain yard truck and forklifts.
Responsible for supporting all automated manufacturing equipment.
Set:
up, change over, and make required adjustments to automated manufacturing machinery.
Preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery.
Support production and maintenance improvement projects, and maintain spare parts inventory for all equipment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Must have previous maintenance experience in Food Processing, preferably in vegetable oil industry.
Forklift driving skills is a plus.
An operational knowledge of industrial machinery which includes; oil expeller, motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
Ability to work various shifts and overtime.
Knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials used in general building maintenance.
Ability to keep simple records of activities performed Job Requirements:
MUST have experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Food Processing industry as outlined above.
MUST be able to work any shift.
