Summary Duties and Responsibilities The Project Manager will be required to work in concert with both Snelson and Customer project support personnel to ensure safe, cost effective, and quality project execution.
Their primary duty is to ensure that proper cost controls, tracking, and reporting are maintained throughout the duration of their projects.
Daily communication with the Customer's project support team and the Company's project support members is essential.
The employee will report directly to the Operations Manager and work in concert with the Superintendent to manage the progression of each job.
The Project Manager will ensure that all customer, permitting authorities, governing authorities and Company deliverables are completed properly and on time.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Review and interpret project scopes, schedules, and costs Ensure that all permitting, environmental requirements, and land agreements are in place and documented Utilize and maintain effective project cost controls and schedules Review, analyze, and report project costs including but not limited to labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials Complete weekly and monthly project cost forecasting Review daily cost tracking to insure proper phasing, tracking, and documentation is completed Review and assist with the writing of subcontracts Communicate and report project status, production, and issues to Snelson and Client project teams Ensure that all out of scope work is documented and approved by the client per Snelson and Customer requirements Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the pipeline maintenance and integrity construction industry A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a relevant discipline An in depth knowledge of heavy underground utility construction Extensive experience in project cost tracking, forecasting and reporting Ability to accurately and effectively communicate and document project activities, production, and cost Ability to interpret and understand construction contracts, subcontracts, rental agreements and MSA rates Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and the ability to learn/utilize construction accounting systems Willingness to travel throughout the Central Valley and work in the field Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
