Summary/Objective:
This position is responsible for completing work orders for inspection and repair of the equipment for the entire processing facility and preventative maintenance as assigned.
Assist Engineering department team members as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform repair and maintenanceon two-stage refrigeration systems.
Perform repair and maintenance on boilers and steam systems.
Perform TIG,MIG gas and stick welding and sheet metal fabrication to repair equipment.
Troubleshoot PLC's using ladder logic to repair system and ensure proper operation as needed.
Troubleshoot VFD's as needed to ensure proper operation.
Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 2 years of industrial repair and maintenance in food production machinery preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Trade School Certifications preferred.
Good oral and written communication skills with basic computer skills.
Must work well with team and alone as required.
