Associate Manager
Job Description The Modesto Goodwill Storehas a full-time opportunity for an Associate Store Manager.
Must be able to work any shift.
Ability to ESSENTIAL DUTIES Execute plans to ensure achievement of budgeted sales.
Operate within the expense budget.
Monitors all phases of store operations to ensure compliance with established material handling and processing practices.
Responsible for achieving daily production goals.
Responsible for maintaining rotation of merchandise/pull schedule by a trained member of the store management/leadership team.
Responsible for accurately handling donated assets and monies involved in store operations, including:
daily register balancing, banking, and change.
Work to reduce the possibility of pilferage and burglary.
Constantly watches for and corrects unsafe conditions.
Assists with selection, coaching, training, scheduling, evaluating and, disciplining staff, up to and including termination.
Responsible for timely submission/updating of all required reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education Required:
High school graduate or accredited GED equivalent.
Experience Required:
Three years supervisory experience in a retail store, including one year of staffing experience.
