Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services/Operations Coordinator/Shift Manager/Designee, the Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations.
Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
The RN is responsible for monitoring the patient's physiological status in the immediate operative period.
Communicates with the surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient conditions and receives direction for patient management.
Intercedes to maintain optimum homeostasis.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications CA RN license ACLS PALS TCAR within 1 year of hire New grad or recent med surg/procedural area experience.
AORN 101 within 6 months of hire Call required 8hr shifts for first 6 months Benefits 401(k) savings plan Medical/vision/dental/life insurance after the 31st day of employment Healthcare and dependent care reimbursement accounts Paid time-off program Online educational program Employee stock purchase plan Employee assistance program Pay range:
