Project Coordinator Location:
Modesto, CASummary/Objective:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee the coordination and communication of material installations between customers, installers, and store personnel for flooring materials.
The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and written communication.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, installers, and company personnel to ensure successful installations.
- Collaborate with installers, estimators, and team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Review customer contracts for accuracy and schedule installations accordingly.
- Maintain installer calendars and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and material transfer for installations.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely material delivery.
- Confirm installation completion, invoice jobs, and collect payments.
- Send customers Thank You cards with warranty information.
- Enter final labor rates into the system for job costing.
- Handle customer concerns, repairs, and claims.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and professionalism.
- Possess strong time management skills and adaptability.
- Work effectively in a team environment and take pride in their work.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:
30 AM - 5:
00 PM.
If hired full-time, there will be a rotating Saturday once a month, from 9:
00 AM to 3:
00 PM.
This will be considered overtime, and the employee will work 6 days that week.
Salary Range:
$19.
00 - $20.
00 per hour, depending on experience.
Required Education and
Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED- Customer Service Experience- Experience in scheduling or event planning- Computer literacy- Ability to work independently- Natural problem solver- 2 years of project management coordination from a construction or construction subcontractorAbout the Company:
