Job Description:
Primary
Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, carries out procedures to ensure that all information system products and services meet organization standards and end:
user requirements.
Assists in the testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
Documents and works to resolve basic problems.
Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
Sufficient experience required, preferably but not required in software development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Tests modifications and enhancements to the product software to ensure problems are eliminated.
Determines the appropriate modifications for problems.
Documents and tracks flow of modifications and enhancements through the quality assurance process.
Plans functional testing process for product line software.
Works with software development staff to ensure that software meets industry requirements.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, some college coursework in information systems or equivalent.
4:
year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Basic knowledge in testing and evaluating performance of programs/applications/software.
Good knowledge of business principles, knowledge of information systems, good interpersonal skills for client interaction, good oral and written communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, good knowledge of company products required.
Proven success in a fast paced, changing environment.
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
