Summary:
The person hired in this role partners with business representatives to conduct process analyses and needs assessments in an effort to align IT solutions with business initiatives, and analyzes business procedures, requirements and problems to develop specifications while partnering with business representatives and Programmer Analysts to implement solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS o Understands the business areas supported to determine specific business requirements.
o Seeks and analyzes business needs creating detailed documentation including requirements, specifications, process flows, and a variety of other supporting document types.
o Prepares proposals and recommendations for management and users.
o Acts as a liaison with a variety of teams and people, facilitating effective interaction and positive work dynamic.
o Prepares project plans and implementation schedules, and conducts meetings and workshops relative to these plans.
o Creates work plans for others and is expected to meet budget and schedule commitments.
o Leads complex projects and timelines to drive new applications, enhancements, and bug fixes to better meet organizational needs.
o Communicates status reporting to all levels of management.
o Develops business and IT relationships with downstream systems and groups to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
o Applies exceptional cross-functional partnering skills with the ability to gain shared vision and influence without authority on challenging decisions and priority tradeoffs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Mathematics, or Engineering plus 3 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 7 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
o High school diploma or GED.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Mathematics, or Engineering plus 5 years of business systems analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
o Master's degree a plus.
o Experience with Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Also, working knowledge of SQL query language and relational database design.
o Some project management experience.
o Teaming spirit contributing at a high level to team goals and acknowledging other team members contributions.
o Demonstrated problem solving skills.
o Experience managing customer expectations.
o Knowledge of project management tools.
o Experience supporting large, complex production systems.
o Supply chain knowledge or experience.
o Experience with ERP systems or winery industry software solutions supporting inventory, planning, and compliance functions.
o Key competencies include:
