Senior Developer will maintain and improve the documentation of software business requirements and specifications, and includes the development, testing, implementation , advanced support of software solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
Developing and supporting effective, efficient and reliable business solutions.
Developing stored procedures and optimizing queries in support of the web development and stand alone applications.
Developing scripts to populate any newly defined tables managed by the data department.
Managing the migration to and production of developed solutions Implementing alert procedures to handle data and process errors.
Developing enhancements to existing Web pages and legacy programs using PHO and.
Net (C and VB).
Coding and testing softwareapplications.
Work in collaborative teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Ensure proper documentation is maintained on all applications developed.
Collaborates with and technically mentors junior members of the department to focus on training and departmental improvement.
Job Requirements:
Strong background in web development and scripting languages, System Development life cycle including testing, troubleshooting and implementation.
Strong knowledge and experience with SQL language for data structuring and data access methods :
Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or MariaDB.
Integration and working knowledge of programming languages for program development.
To include C, C++, C, Visual Basic, Java or other object:
oriented and scripting languages.
Experience may also include ASP and.
net framework.
Flexibility and ability to quickly learn New Development methodologies and languages :
TDD, MVC, MVVM, PHP, Ruby, Rub on Rails,.
Net, C, Bootstrap.
Familiar with Service Oriented Architecture.
Able skill set to business application development.
Excellent Analytical, Planning and Organizational Skills.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
Education and
Experience:
5 plus years of experience in programming and support of various software packages, Data Center a plus.
Experience with MS Exchange, Link, Active Directory and Unified communications desired.
Knowledge and execution of business analysis and design techniques.
Specific job history in using programming languages to develop or maintain business application.
Demonstrated ability to accurately and quickly complete deliverables with a high degree of utility and effecient use of system resources.
